Privacy Policy

FoodRecallNow does not use cookies, advertising trackers or third-party scripts. We run our own privacy-friendly analytics on our own server: for each page view we log your IP address, its approximate location (country, region, city and internet provider, looked up locally using IP Geolocation by DB-IP), the page, the referring site and your browser type. These logs are used only for site statistics and security, are kept for 90 days, and are never sold or shared.

The dark/light preference is stored only in your browser (localStorage). The Buy Me a Coffee button links to an external site with its own privacy policy.

E-mail recall alerts

If you sign up for alerts we store your e-mail address, the filters you chose (categories, states, keywords), the time and IP address of your signup and confirmation, and a log of the alerts we sent you. We use this only to send the alerts you asked for. Signup is double opt-in: nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link. Every alert has a one-click unsubscribe link; after you unsubscribe we keep only a record that the address opted out. E-mails are delivered by our e-mail provider, Resend, which processes your address and the message only to deliver it. We never sell or share your address.
